sizing problems...

Some recent stuff...

i posted this on the core77 boards, but i thought i'd put it up here too. just a few things i've done in the hopes of getting better with my sketching and with using SBP.

Sketchbook Pro practice...

still trying to get the hang of this program and what i can do with it...

1 design to go, please!...

Finally got my grubby hands on a Fujitsu T4220. It originally came
preloaded with CS5, but it's absolute crap so I trashed it. Waiting
for my copy of Autodesk Sketchbook Pro so i can work on the
road...Without bringing reams of paper, markers and countless pens.

Another 30...

In the time it takes me to play one half on NBA 2k10, i cranked out
this sketch. Second of the night =)

Putting in work...

I've been on and off with the sketching, but since I'm ending my stint
at Monta Loma, it's a great time to get the Wacom powered up. Here's a
30 minutes excercise.

More sketches!

It seems I'm more productive when it rains =).

Anyway, the top one was inspired by the inside of a marble (you know,
the wavy colored part?).

The middle one is an updated version of the classic AJ XII.

The bottom is a middle price point team basketball shoe like the
cradle rock.

Something I should develop but works as an excercise.

Side-tracked...

While searching for lines to put down I 'found' these two spring to
the forefront and ran with them. I'd like to think they're a revival
of the force vs flight lines.

Slowly fleshing out the guts an tech for my Wade shoe.

My New Year's Resolution...

I've tried it before but I think this year is the year...I'm going to
try to create a design per month. Not just a rendering but a full-
blown coccept from the ground up. I'm thinking a sig shoe for d-Wade
would be a great place to start. Some early sketches just to loosen
up, and heeeeeere we go....

Believe the hype...

Heard about a contest yesterday that ends on the 31st. Been working
'round the clock to get an idea to submit. I think I'm on to
something...

As for this post, I'm trying doubly hard to get out of this life rut,
and here's my current project...the AJXXV =)

It's good practice...

The shape may be simplistic but it's good practice for shading,
rendering and vector control skills.
